Lexie Hull surprised by Caitlin Clark gesture after major announcement

Caitlin Clark and her Indiana Fever teammates surprised Lexie Hull with congratulations on her engagement, which made her emotional.

This week, Hull announced her engagement to Will Matthiessen on Instagram. She posted romantic photos of her boyfriend proposing against a stunning coastal view.

Hull captioned the carousel: "Engaged to my best friend, cheers to forever!" Her friends and WNBA players congratulated her quickly.

The squad shared a video on Thursday showing Clark leaving the floor with teammates and pulling out a plastic tiara and a "BRIDE" bag.

Clark then joyfully ran across the court to Hull, yelling "Lexie!" before putting the tiara on her head and giving her the tote bag as the squad celebrated. Aliyah Boston also handed balloons to a grinning Hull, who thanked her teammates, saying, "That's so cute, guys."
