Pennsylvania and California prepare payments of up to $1,600 in May

In May, Colorado, California, and Pennsylvania are rolling out financial relief programs, offering payments from $725 to $1,600 to eligible residents.  

These initiatives are aimed at supporting various groups facing financial stress.

Colorado is issuing TABOR refunds of $800 to $1,600 to residents aged 18 and older. Applicants must file Form DR 0104 to receive the surplus tax revenue rebate.

California is launching the "First the Family" pilot program in Sacramento, offering $725 bi-weekly payments to families with children under five living in select ZIP codes.

Pennsylvania is providing up to $800 through its Property Tax/Rent Rebate Program for seniors 65+, widows/widowers 50+, and individuals with disabilities 18+. This initiative aims to ease housing-related financial burdens.

These state-specific programs are tailored to address local needs—supporting families with young children, the elderly, and those with disabilities 

—offering vital relief and helping communities stay afloat during tough times.
